The Case of MILALITTRA in Mt. Kalatungan

This study contextualizes the importance of indigenous knowledge on forest conservation and watershed protection, in light of climate change and intensified natural disasters. Through the Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) program of the Miarayon–Lapok–Lirongan–Tinaytayan Tribal Association (MILALITTRA) in Northern Mindanao, the Talaandig tribe is able to conserve natural resources which are vital for communities’ adaptation to climate change.

Linking Land Tenure and Climate Change: The Case of MILALITTRA in Mt.
