ANGOC 2020 Annual Report

Feb 8, 2021

2020 was a challenging year for the ANGOC network as the COVID-19 pandemic rained the heaviest on the rural poor and as health protocols restricted civil society actions. This annual report entitled “Protecting Land Rights and Ensuring Food Security in the Time of COVID-19″documents how members of the network responded to the immediate needs of rural communities this past year, while also continuing policy and programmatic work to attain sustainable rural development. This annual report features the impetus behind the ANGOC network issuing its statement on COVID with the same title as this report, and includes highlights from ANGOC’s online World Food Day celebration which was organized to discuss the implications of the statement to the network’s work and advocacies.
