In this video, ANGOC members discuss how COVID has affected their country, partner communities, and organization as the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the globe. It also highlights how ANGOC members across Asia stepped up to the challenges brought on by the pandemic, employing technological advancements, mobilizing their networks, and engaging the youth, to lead information campaigns, research efforts, and relief operations.
These initiatives serve to highlight the ingenuity of land rights civil society organizations in persevering to help communities during these extraordinary times. And while the world continues its battle against the microscopic enemy, civil society also continues to advocate for secure land rights which will lead to better food security and greater adaptive capacity during pandemics such as this one.
