Last 30 July, ANGOC joined the Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) as a partner. GLTN is an alliance of global regional and national partners contributing to poverty alleviation through land reform, improved land management and security of tenure through the pro-poor and gender-sensitive land tools. GLTN partners have identified and agreed upon 18 key land tools – which will address the persistent problem of poor or failed implementation of land policies worldwide.
ANGOC convenes the Land Watch Asia (LWA) campaign, which develops knowledge products (studies, resource books) and tools, such as the land reform monitoring framework.
ANGOC belongs to GLTN’s rural civil society organization cluster and is expected to work with GLTN on the Regional Land Tenure Initiative in the Asia Pacific Project, as well as other initiatives. #
