The Rush for Asia’s Farmland and its impact on land rights and tenure security for the rural poor

    This is based on a reflection paper by Antonio B. Quizon which was edited for the “South Asia Regional Workshop on Human Rights, People’s Right to Land and Food” held on 4-5 April 2012 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The original reflection paper was written following an earlier regional workshop on the theme of “Public-Private Partnerships for Land Investments” held on 6-7 June 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand. Published by ANGOC in Lok Niti, April 2012.
